Airtel has collaborated with HMD Global, Nokia’s parent company to give a cashback of Rs 2,200 on smartphones of Nokia 2 and Nokia 3. The offer called ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ bundles with the Rs 169 recharge pack. The Rs 169 pack offers 1 GB of data per day with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days.
According to a report on Gadgets 360, the cashback on the offer will be provided in two installments of Rs 500 and Rs 1,500. Rs 500 cashback will be given within the first 18 months whereas the rest of the Rs 1,500 in the next 36 months. To avail the cashback offer customers need to recharge their Airtel SIM with a minimum amount of Rs 3,500 for the first 18 months and for Rs 3,500 for the next 36 months to be eligible for the cashback offer.
The Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 9,499 in India. The cashback brings down effective price of these smartphones comes to Rs 4,999 and Rs 7,499 respectively.
Nokia 3 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The Nokia 3 features an 8 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera. The smartphone is powered by a 2,630 mAh battery.
The Nokia 2 features a 5.0-inch HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone runs on Snapdragon 212 chip-set with quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage.
Nokia 2 comes with 5 MP front camera and 8 MP rear camera and is powered by a 4,100 mAh battery.
